Prussian Sea Sienna Sands II is a sold original abstract painting from my exploration of the Australian coastline, where changing light transforms the sea, sky and earth throughout the day.
Inspired by the dramatic reflections of a stormy sea, layers of rich Prussian blues, warm sienna sands and textured acrylic create a sense of movement, depth and atmosphere. Rather than depicting a literal seascape, I wanted to capture that fleeting moment when sunlight breaks through heavy clouds and the colours of the water become unexpectedly vibrant.
Created with professional acrylics using palette knives and layered texture, this original painting invites viewers to discover new details from every angle.
